When: January, from the 12th to the 14th.
Sportel was created thanks to the initiative of Georges Bertellotti, a Monegasque journalist and avid sportsman. Let’s quote him: « …in spite of our efforts, we have not exhausted the multiples facets of this organization …for sport opens to life and life, in order to enrich sport, needs the humility that drives us to constantly challenge our views, achievements and knowledge ».
Georges Bertellotti used to have strong links with the governement by passing informations from the press to the politics for more than thirty years, thus he decided to create a huge sport event. He gave birth to Sportel, which is now the world’s leading business market for the sport and media industry.
