During two winter weeks, the city of Nice on beautiful French Riviera organizes a unique celebration : Nice Carnival.
The first one in France, Nice Carnival welcomes artists from 15 different countries to take part in its colorful parades and expects more than a million visitors.
A parade with twenty floats leaded by the King and Queen cross the city. 150 giant pasted cardboard heads parade in the streets too, turning Nice into a magical place for two weeks.
One of the most expected shows is the Flower Battle. Munitions? Between 4000 and 5000 fresh flowers! 90% of these flowers are grown locally. These flowers are used to decorate floats, each of them entering in the most flowered and most beautiful float competition.
