On March 15th and 16th, the Bejart Ballet Lausanne will fill Cannes Grand Auditorium with music and dance. This Ballet is composed of 39 dancers, coming from 15 different countries and performing choreographies by Maurice Béjart. Their show of March 15th, “Aria”, tackles the theme of a quest, the desire for an artist to reconcile instinct and reason.
On March 26th, there will be a performance of “Le Barbier de Séville” by Rossini at the Grand Auditorium.
In the same venue, Marianne Faithfull will give a concert on April 12th 2011. Since her first single “As tears go by”, the singer has reached international recognition, for her sad and emotional balads and unique, husky and bewitching voice.
